I have really enjoyed making some changes with you by my side.  Thank you for giving me the powerful tools to move forward with grace joy and ease. The sessions have helped me to expand my vision for helping others and expand my vision, in general, to be able to open myself to receiving the great joy of life and wonder of being alive and live life to my fullest potential and help others to do the same.

My experiences have shaped my understanding, empathy, and resilience, enabling me to guide others through their own challenging times

Growing up as the daughter of a transgender parent, I faced confusion, anger, and a deep sense of isolation. When my dad revealed in 1987 that he would undergo gender reassignment treatment, I was overwhelmed by emotions I couldn't fully comprehend.

For years, I tried to ignore these challenging thoughts and feelings, but the burden became too heavy to carry. It wasn't until I began looking within myself and practicing self-honesty that I started to understand why I felt the way I did. I learned that the most crucial step in my journey was listening to myself—deciphering my thoughts and feelings to understand my triggers and behaviors.

My journey of self-discovery and resilience was further tested in 2017 when my son had a fatal mountain bike accident that left him with life-changing injuries. The rollercoaster of emotions I experienced was intense, but the skills I had developed—listening to myself, understanding my emotions, and practicing self-honesty—supported me through this incredibly tough time.

What I went through led me to develop resources and write two books "When Dad Became Joan" and "4 Steps To Emotional Freedom" based on my own experiences, to help you navigate your own journey. My coaching is rooted in the principles of self-honesty, self-listening, and resilience. Together, we will explore your thoughts and feelings, understand your triggers, and develop personalized coping mechanisms that suit your unique situation.
